The 2017 Horwich Festival of Racing – a great weekend of sport with running, cycling, race walking, triathlon, orienteering and unicycle races. Most events are staged on a traffic free road circuit in the centre of Horwich near Bolton. There are events for all ages and levels of ability including a mass fun cycle ride, fancy dress fun run, the British Masters 5K Running and Race Walking Championships, open 5k road race, youth cycle races, sprint orienteering, a sprint triathlon, British National Unicycle Road Race and an elite level cycling Grand Prix on Saturday evening.

One of the most popular racing festivals in the North of England, Horwich features a one mile circuit in the centre of town with a great selection of cafes, restaurants, bars and shops to sample while you’re here. It’s a really enjoyable weekend for participants and spectators alike, so why not visit Horwich this June, test yourself over this excellent circuit and enjoy a great day out or a weekend away with family and friends in one of the North West’s most picturesque areas.
