** Important Information re Levens Race **

We have just found that there is a road closure on the race route of the Levens 10k due to take place on 20 May. There is almost no chance that this road closure will be lifted before the event. The cause is a collapsed wall, which was at least 10 feet high, of a private house and although the road has been cleared the local highways will not allow passage through this very short part of the road until it has been repaired. As this situation is out of our control, we intend to continue to hold the race but it will be shortened to approximately 5.5 miles or just over 8.75 kms. This will mean that the results will not go onto Power of 10 as the course will not be a 10k measured course under EA rules.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused and we do hope you will still join us.
