Huge congratulations to Thia and Kira, who both won their age groups at the heptathlon in Trafford this weekend. Thia in the Under-18s and Kira in the Seniors, with both setting Championship records!
Thia also picked up personal bests in the 200m and Javelin, as well as for her overall heptathlon score. Kira set a PB in the Shot Put, and capped off the event with a brilliant 800m, winning with a sprint finish.
A fantastic weekend for both athletes. Well done, Thia and Kira!
